With the U.S. Tax deadline for American citizens abroad around the corner, there is much going on and we could definitely feel a sugar rush coming on to keep us going – like it did for us in college. We certainly remember pulling all-nighters studying fueled by stale coffee, Skittles, M&Ms and Snickers bars!
So we kind of felt nostalgic for some American candy. No surprise since my husband, Patrick, is busy at work with his clients’ income tax preparations.
Oh…. and in case you were wondering, the due date for tax returns for U.S. taxpayers living abroad is on June 15th .
By the way, we were just looking back at the way this year has been going among other things, and we were very excited by the number of Facebook fans we have. In fact, we recently reached 400 fans and are still growing strong!
To show our appreciation, we thought it would be a great idea to make things a little fun by sharing some American candy in our first ever Facebook giveaway – a Spring Giveaway – just to give back a little taste of home. Not the healthiest thing in the world, I know, but hey! It’s OK to be a little naughty from time to time, right?
The prize is a basket of all kinds of American candy special for one of our Facebook fans. You all have a great chance to win! All you have to do to take part is watch our video and register so we can let you know if you win. Then our computer system will randomly choose the winner in the beginning of June.
If you’re not a Facebook fan just like our page or register on the link below. You still have some time left.
The prize is a box of American candy. Simple!
The Giveaway promotion runs through Thursday, June 4, at 23:59 CET (but don’t worry if you missed it – there will be more treats to come). The winner will be randomly selected through an automated process by June 14, 2015, will be announced by email, and will be requested to provide a postal address so that we may send the treats postage free. Permission to announce the winner on Social Media will be requested. The promotion is open only to people who have a postal address in Switzerland and the EU.
And many thanks to our friends at Heavenly Sweets for satisfying our sugar rush and reminding us a little about home! If you want some for yourself just visit their website at www.HeavenlySweets.co.uk
Lastly, just to avoid any confusion, this giveaway promotion is organized by US TAX PRACTICE and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
Thanks again for all you support. If there is anything we can do for you apart from preparing your tax return, do let us know. We really enjoy interacting with our Facebook fans and fellow Americans living abroad.
